The high-availability and highly expandable AegisSAN LX storage systems use QThin, the thin provisioning function by Qsan, to allocate disk storage space in a flexible manner based on the minimum space required. With QThin, less storage is required over the life cycle of the storage system, which makes the system resource efficient. Moreover, AegisSAN LX can be centrally managed by QCentral as well.

AegisSAN LX disk arrays support VMware, Hyper-V and Citrix. Moreover, with the support of vSphere 5 and VAAI (vStorage APIs for Array Integration), they are capable of improved performance, superior scalability and better agility in VMware virtual server environments.

AegisSAN LX offers two interface options: iSCSI and Fibre Channel. Available products include the P600Q (with 10GbE x2 ports + 1GbE x2 ports per controller), P400Q (with 1GbE x6 ports per controller), F630Q (with 16Gb FC x2 ports + 1GbE x2 ports per controller) F600Q (with 8Gb FC x4 ports + 1GbE x2 ports per controller) and. The systems have 4U 60-Bay, 4U 24-Bay, 3U 16-Bay and 2U 12-Bay form factors and can be expanded up to 256 hard drives of SATA II, SAS and SSD.
